Instructor: Caitlyn Wright
Are you interested in spicing up your ceramic skills? While expanding on basic throwing and handbuilding techniques, this class utilizes a combination of the two in order to design & make new and exciting pots! We will explore throwing and altering with hand built additions, throwing in sections to hand build larger pieces, and adding decorated elements to the pots using impressed, stamped, and incised slabs. Each participant will take home finished functional wares, glazed and fired in the wood kiln.
