Instructor: Barbara Tam
Together we will design and craft a wall mural made of ceramic tiles for display at the Library. We will begin by learning how to work with slabs of clay as we make some individual pieces to take home. Then, the flora and fauna of our Adirondack Mountains will be the theme as we make a collaborative work of art. Come be a part of something very special for our community.
$24 materials and firings fee (covers all three classes)

Barbara Tam has taught visual arts to students from kindergarten through high school in both private and public schools for more than 35 years. She loves being with young artists dreaming big about their creative ideas and working to make those ideas real. The natural world and its mysteries and intrigues is the focus of Barbara’s own explorative work, primarily in clay, paper, and fiber.
