Join us throughout the residency season for our free public series of short and informal artist talks, readings, and presentations. We’ll learn about works-in-progress from our artists and scholars-in-residence with informative and inspiring presentations in all disciplines. This is a wonderful way to kick off your weekend! Bring a friend, all are welcome.

Cassidy Mae Jackson
Cassidy Mae Jackson (they/them) is Craigardan’s Administrative + Community Engagement Manager. Cassidy is an arts administrator, academic, and artist from the Midwest. They graduated from Pratt Institute with a B.A in Critical and Visual Studies and have a graduate certificate in Quilt Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Their academic and artistic work is often intertwined and spans textiles, writing, and performance. They are interested in gender studies, queer theory, performance studies, decolonial research practices, and critical craft studies. Cassidy is passionate about cultivating and participating in creative communities. In their free time, they love listening to baseball on the radio, weaving, reading next to bodies of water, and cooking and eating good food with loved ones.
