Congratulations and Welcome to Craigardan!
You have been selected out of a pool of over 50 applicants to receive one of only 4 residency internship spots available this year. We are pleased to award you with a Craigardan internship, weekly scholarship, and the full support of staff in preparation for, during, and after your time in-residence.
While here, you will have the opportunity to join both staff and residents in experiencing all that Craigardan has to offer — meaningful work, walks in the woods, incredible food, good people, plus the time to create and explore.
You’ll hear from us over the next few months before your residency internship, but first, it is very important that you follow the steps below and carefully read all of the information provided. Don’t hesitate to EMAIL us if you have any questions or need assistance.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Now that you have been accepted to the residency internship program, there are a few steps below for you to complete. Your residency internship is not considered confirmed until ALL THREE steps have been completed. If your residency internship is not confirmed by the deadline, your spot will be offered to someone else. Completing these steps and reading all of the materials will take about an hour.
The deadline for completion is 3/20/26.
STEP 1// Residency agreement forms
Please carefully read, fill out, and electronically sign the residency agreement forms. You will also sign a paper version of the Residency Agreement/Indemnity upon arrival.
STEP 2// Resident internship handbook
The resident internship handbook contains important information to help you prepare for your internship, and it will answer most of the questions that you have. Please, read thoroughly and keep for reference, then sign the handbook acknowledgement form.
Please follow this link to submit your high quality photo (jpg) and a short artist bio. Your photo and bio will be included in our artist directory, summer program guide, and Applebarn Series advertising. You may also choose to tell us your social media handles so that we can tag you in our posts. Please follow the link below and be sure to insert your bio in the Bio Rewrite section.
