Congratulations on your fellowship award and welcome to Craigardan!
We are honored to support your work and we’re here to help you with the preparation for your time on the mountain.
You’ll hear from us over the next few months prior to your arrival, but first it is very important that you follow the steps below, and carefully read all of the information provided. Don’t hesitate to EMAIL us if you have any questions or need assistance.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Once you have been accepted to the program and offered a residency or internship, there are a few steps below for you to complete upon notification. Your residency is not considered confirmed until the form below has been submitted with all steps completed. If your residency is not confirmed by the deadline, your spot may be offered to someone else. Completing these steps and reading all of the materials will take about an hour.
Deadline for completion: February 1st
The Residency Next Steps Form includes:
RESIDENCY DEPOSIT PAYMENT
Pay the deposit to confirm your spot. If you have been awarded a full fellowship, there is no need to pay a deposit. You will be able to pay the correct amount with a credit card:
Summer residencies: $750
Winter residencies: $325
Internships: $100
RESIDENCY FORMS
Please carefully read and electronically sign the residency agreement forms which include:
Residency agreement and indemnity
Photo release waiver
Medical form
Work Exchange agreement (*only if awarded*)
HANDBOOK
The Resident and Internship Handbooks contain important information to help you prepare for your residency, and it will answer most of the questions that you have. Please download, read thoroughly and keep for reference, then sign the handbook acknowledgement form.
You will submit a high quality photo (jpg). Your photo (and submitted bio) will be included in our artist directory, summer program guide, and Applebarn Series advertising.
