Empty Bowl, Full Heart Fundraiser


It’s time for the annual Empty Bowl, Full Heart Fundraiser, in memory of Carmina Leabres Drake. Bowls are available by donation starting February 14th and all funds raised will go toward local initiatives to fight hunger.

Click on the link below to make a donation and pick up a bowl at Craigardan anytime after February 14th, Monday through Saturday, 9am-6pm. Suggested Donation: $20 - $25. If you would like to support the campaign but don’t need a bowl, you may donate through the same link.

When picking up your bowl you will receive a token to present at a participating restaurant for a bowl of soup anytime February 14th- 28th.

Participating restaurants are:

  • Ausable Inn (Keene Valley)

  • Cedar Run Bakery (Keene)

  • Deer’s Head Inn (Elizabethtown)

  • Old Mountain Coffee (Keene Valley)

  • Ice Jam Inn (Upper Jay)

  • Rivermede Farm Store (Keene Valley)

  • Green Goddess (Lake Placid)

Bowls can also be purchased at Cedar Run, East Branch Organics, Rivermede Farm Store, and Sugar House Creamery.


Craigardan is proud to partner in this Winter's Empty Bowl, Full Heart dinner in honor of Carmina Leabres Drake.  The dinner has been organized by community members to honor Carmina and perpetuate the charitable concept of the traditional empty bowl dinner here in Keene.  All proceeds will benefit local initiatives to fight hunger.
